We currently have a high demand for honest, reliable, caring people to act as temporary companions, housekeepers, nursing auxiliaries and carers. Our aim is to enable our elderly, infirm and disabled clients to remain independent and continue to live in their own homes. The duties of the carer can vary greatly depending on the type of client you are placed with; general duties can include assisting with personal care, toileting, light housework, shopping, and companionship.
Daily Care We have positions available for carers throughout Buckinghamshire and Berkshire caring for the elderly, in their own homes, on an hourly basis. Your own phone and car are essential. We offer competitive rates of pay, paid holiday and assistance with training
Live-in Care Bookings are for 2-3 weeks, with staff providing continual care for clients, 7 days a week. The carer has 2 hours off each day, which is covered either by relatives or daily carers and must have at least 1 day off in between bookings. The Universal Care Managers are in regular contact with both the client and the carer to help deal with any problems that may occur.
Salaries for staff vary, but the minimum rate is £68 per day, depending on the duties required, with additional payment for a Bank Holiday. Travelling expenses will be reimbursed up to £40 per booking if receipts are provided. Salaries are normally paid weekly in arrears.
