On 19th June we held our annual Summer Garden Party and it truly was a wonderful event! With over 100 guests, including our carers, their clients, local councillors and other representatives of the community, there was a fantastic atmosphere.
Peter Cullimore, Universal Care Chairman, welcomed everyone into the stunning marquee which was set up within the picturesque grounds of Hall Barn, by the kind permission of Mrs Jenefer Farncombe. Background music was supplied by the quirky folk band ‘Every Other Tuesday’, in aid of Parkinson’s UK, which definitely added to the excited buzz of the event.
We were also proud to welcome Alexander Pullen, an incredible percussionist playing the marimba. As the youngest musician to reach the Young Musician Percussion Finals at only 15, we were lucky to have him performing three fantastic pieces. The room was in awe at his talent and passion!
As an annual event that has been going on for 10 years, the Universal Care Summer Garden Party has a reputation in the community for being an unmissable opportunity to talk to some fantastic people who really make a difference to the Beaconsfield area, which this year included the Lord Lieutenant and Countess Howe.
We’d like to thank all of the Universal Care team who made the garden party possible, and the caterers who did a fantastic job at keeping everybody happy with delicious sandwiches, cakes and snacks.
Thank you to everybody who attended and we can’t wait until next year!
