We offer a range of care and support to suit all kinds of situations. Our Directors and experienced Care Managers will be happy to talk to you or visit you at home to discuss your needs and find out how we can help.

While based in Beaconsfield, our daily care services are available throughout Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Hertfordshire, including locations such as Marlow, Aylesbury, Windsor, and Maidenhead. We provide live-in care throughout the South East.

A history of caring experience

Universal Care was set up in 1986 by Chairman Peter Cullimore and his late wife Gillian. Peter was concerned that the only option for many people was to move into a residential home. He felt that making people leave their homes just because they required care was both inconsiderate and unnecessary.

"As one of the families who have the benefit of your wonderful carers, I would like to say thank you for everything this year. Your carers are very special people and have made our lives much easier. With special mention to Debbie, Britt and Kadi, without whom our family would be in chaos. Thank you."
"I would like to say how very kind and caring your staff are towards my mother, their care is wonderful and she is very fond of both of them. It is a worry for me living 70 miles away but I know she is in good hands."

"I would like to thank Universal Care for all the help they have given me, first in looking after my husband, and then more recently over the last three months for me. With their professional, friendly and caring attention, I now feel strong enough to manage on my own. I would not hesitate in recommending Universal Care to anyone who is looking for care for a loved one."
"They were extraordinarily professional, caring and efficient, and each of them displayed a wonderful humanity and bond with my father that made his final years peaceful, comfortable, and even blissful. When it came to his passing he was able to do so in his own bed at home in a quiet dignified and relaxed manner."
"I am very pleased with the high standard of care my husband receives. My husband has dementia and is in a wheelchair. It is fair to say that he is difficult, especially for me! Having the carers has made a huge difference to my capacity to cope and survive."
